The Skybrake DD2+ security system is a high-level car security system against open carjacking.This security system was developed in the wake of the increase in open carjacking (forcible removal of the car keys).The system is extremely easy to use as it does not require the driver to take any additional action.The only condition is that you need to have the Skybrake electronic key. Based on the manufacturers’ long experience, the unique Double Dialog* (DD) technology has been developed, which provides exceptional security and reliable radio communication.Thanks to this technology, any “electronic hacking” or scanning becomes impossible. If the Skybrake DD2+ system is in normal operation, there is no external indication that the car is equipped with a high-level security system. How to use the system The car can only be driven when the Skybrake DD2+ electronic key is in range (in the driver’s possession).The Skybrake DD2+ system allows you to start the car’s engine without the electronic key, but in this case the engine will be locked after 10 seconds and cannot be started until the system has recognised the electronic key.If the electronic key connection is lost while the engine is already running (the electronic key is more than 2 metres away from the car, the power supply for the electronic key is lost), there will be a continuous series of warning beeps after 55 seconds and the engine will be blocked after 30 seconds. The car engine can only be started when the system recognises the electronic key again.If the car engine is locked, a series of short, continuous beeps will sound when the car’s ignition is switched on.Please note that the transmitter’s power supply (CR2430) must be replaced approximately once every 12 months. Three double beeps in the car’s interior when the ignition is switched on will remind you that the power supply needs to be replaced soon.
